Summer Learning journey- Week 1- In the beginning (1800-1870)Day two: Its all in a days work- Activity two: The rules of Engagement

My dream job is to be a veterinarian. I want to be a veterinarian because I like animals and working with them and helping them sounds so much fun! I would also love to be a veterinarian because the pay is pretty good. In the future I hope I get to be a veterinarian!

    Its really crazy weather out there and just perfect for blogging as mostly everyone is indoors anyways. I really enjoyed looking at your google drawing and seeing the career you would like to do. I think its really special that you know what you want to do for a job so you can start working towards that goal and leaning all you can about animals now.
    Caring for animals and taking care of their health is a pretty important job! People would put alot of trust in you that you would know how to treat their pet to get better.
    Much like a doctor for people.

    Do you know any veterinarians? I have a friend and she would also like to be a Vet but at the moment she is working in a dog training school learning how to train dogs. She's very lucky as she always is sending me pictures of all the gorgeous dogs she works with.

    Hi there,

    My name is Toeumu and i am a student in room 3 at Wesley Primary. It is cool that you want to be a vet, i can tell that you like animals so much.Maybe next time you a little bit more detail.

    This reminds me of when i did this activity, my dream job is to be a netball player, i want to be a netball player because i play it at school,it is really fun, we use teamwork, i play at school and i hope i play at a club this year. Do you play netball? If you do what is your favourite position? Good luck on your activitys over the summer/ school holidays.

    My name is Megan and I am part of the Summer Learning Journey team working with Clare and Cadence this summer. It is fabulous to see you have completed some great activities over the last few weeks.

    Wow, what an incredible aspiration you have to become a veterinarian. What has inspired you to want to be a vet? This is a very important job as you are helping a families beloved pet feel better. My dog Bozlee is a huge fan of our local vets. He knows that if he walks behind the counter and sits on the scales then he will receive a treat. It is a completely different story once we walk in to the room where the inspections happen, he decides he is no longer a fan. Do you own any pets?

    It is great that you know what your dream job is. This allows you to focus on your goal and work hard until you get there.

    I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about your dream job and see your creative drawing. I hope you have a fantastic weekend.
