Summer Learning journey-week one: In the beginning(1800-1870) Day 3: Its all in family- Activity one: The More the Merrier

If was in a family with nine siblings I would probably feel pressured if I was the oldest or in the middle, I would also have to wait for a lot of things. I would enjoy being in a big family because we will always be occupied and have things to do. The downside is when we would have to babysit because everyone is running everywhere and there's so much kids its out of control!

    What great blogging weather we have had this week, I really am enjoying reading the work that the Ako Hiko Cluster have been doing over this week.
    We have one week left of the Summer Learning Journey to put in lots of effort to get as many points as you can. You are now one of the active bloggers at Wesley Intermediate so Im really impressed with how hard you are working.

    Being from a family with 9 siblings would have its pros and cons. You have shared here your view on how you would feel. I think you are right in what you are saying here though, there would be a lot of waiting around for things.
    There definitely always be someone around to talk to or play with which would be a major bonus. I know a few people from really large families with more than 9 siblings. My friend he is from a family of 15 children ranging over about 20 years between the oldest and youngest. He always has birthdays and celebrations to go to. Do you know anyone from large families?

    Hi there Tiffany,

    My name is Toeumu and i am a student in room 3 at Wesley Primary School. Wow! Big families are sometimes noisy. I like your reasons for why you would or wouldn't want to be in a big family. Maybe next time you could add a picture to make it more interesting.

    This reminds me that i am in a big family, because i have 5 brothers and 2 sisters. It is a bit of a hand full taking care of them. But i love my family. Do you live with a big family? Do you know any celebrations from large families? good luck on your activitys over the summer/ school holidays.
